I would bet that the sign on the bottom of the electric scooter was not written by a lawyer. Most lawyers have had their sense of humor removed. I am surprised the lawyers have not demanded that this be covered over, or replaced with a warning that falling off a scooter could result in grievous bodily injury and the rider assumes are liability.
We should all have those signs printed on our bottoms!

DeleteThat is an interesting observation. I'm surprised it isn't the standard liability statement as you said.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how the electric scooter companies avoid being sued.
DeleteDo you think thems with little humor make good lawyers or thems who become lawyers lose their sense of humor?
