Where the little blue triangle was at, I was parked, in my car, high and dry, overlooking the north Atlantic on one side, and a harbor on the other side. Look at the elevation in the lower right hand corner. Sometimes I think Ms. Garmin drinks when I am driving.
Shit... back in the day you should see where she had me placed while not drinking!!!!!
ReplyDeletegood thing she does not tell some of the places we have been
DeleteDo you suppose Ms. Garmin is projecting sea level rise? We originally called ours Dora the Explorer. After the second trip, we renamed her Ditzy Dora.
ReplyDeleteShe took us to the wrong hotel, in a city that only had two hotels.
DeleteMaybe it was the tide coming in or going out ... or that AI is crazy.

DeleteSome people rely on SatNav without question. No wonder many have ended up in very bad situations.

ReplyDeleteDriving into the ocean is not covered by the insurance.

ReplyDeleteI have gotten Ms G lost a few times,

ReplyDeleteCoffee is on, and stay safe.
I have gotten her lost and confused a couple of times.
DeleteIt's not just Ms Garmin. When I was working as a park ranger at a national park near an old college buddy working as a reporter in WV, we collected horror stories from people lead astray by google maps. Just a word to the wise: if you're traveling in Appalachia - get a paper map. And not just because the signals can be unreliable.
ReplyDeleteWe have ended up on a few mountain trails over the years.
Deletewhat if it was right?
ReplyDeleteIt looked dry when I turned that way
