There is a lot of history on the shore there, pirates, revolutionaries, civil war, liberty ships, on of the original corner stones for the District of Columbia.
It looks like St. Marys River without the freighters.
There is a draw bridge section on this bridge, but very little shipping on the river, 5-6 miles upstream and there are permanent bridges.
The bridge, the fog, such atmosphere!
It was a great morning for a walk.
What a beautiful spot just around the corner from home!
I need to spend more time enjoying the joys around me.
I love the underside of the bridge, perhaps as a reminder of my days as a troll???? 😁
There is a park under the bridge, we call it the troll park.
