Travel Tuesday: Lake Tahoe

In October of 2022 I spoke at a conference in Reno, and we stayed over for a few days at Lake Tahoe.  We stayed on the south end of the lake, just across the state line in California.  The last day we were in Reno it rained heavily, and snowed in the mountains around the lake.  It was the first snow of the season and a wonderful way to see the lake.

  1. I agree with Mr Mitchell but who is the young guy with the single snowball? Did you tell The Sweet Bear about him?

  4. These are beautiful photos. I had a temporary work assignment in Reno back in the 90's and I got to see the lake in winter. It's such a beautiful sight with the snow covering the ground and trees like in your photos.

  7. I've been to Lake Tahoe in the late spring and early fall and it's beautiful those times of the year. It must be beautiful year 'round.

  9. Tahoe is beautiful if you can get out of the casinos but then you were on the California side. Does the man shown in that picture not have a snowball in his hand and did he turn and hurl it at you?
