Travel Tuesday: The Guggenheim Museum

  1. Fabulous! This is one example of how I find the building more interesting than the art inside. When I visited, the ramp was closed for an installation.

    1. The first time we were there the rotunda was dark for a video exhibit, I am so glad we went back.

    2. I was so disappointed that I couldn't appreciate the building the first time. Endeavor to go back; it's a whole different and much more enjoyable experience.

  2. I am constantly amazed by the beauty of some of your architecture and your displays of art. MoMA just blew me away and I'm sure the Guggenheim would have too.

  6. For as many times as I've been to NYC, I have not visited the Guggenheim. That needs to change.

    1. Most definitely! I finally got there just a couple years ago, despite visiting NYC for decades. Don't know why I never got there earlier.
