Sunday Five: You Asked First

Last week you asked me some great questions, more than five, so I will pick five, and it is your chance to answer.

1: Have you owned pets as an adult?

2: Of all the places you have lived and traveled, if you had to pick one place permanently for the rest of your life to live and never travel again where would it be?

3: The age old question: do you hang the toilet paper roll with the paper coming over or under the roll?

4: What is your favourite movie of all time, and why?

5: What is your favorite holiday?

You can find my answers on last week's post.  Please share your answers in the comments.

  2. 1: Have you owned pets as an adult?
    Yes, multiple.
2: Of all the places you have lived and traveled, if you had to pick one place permanently for the rest of your life to live and never travel again where would it be?
Here is fine, but the idea of never traveling again is not my mind at the time
3: The age old question: do you hang the toilet paper roll with the paper coming over or under the roll? Paper over the top... per the patent drawing.
4: What is your favourite movie of all time, and why?
    No idea.
5: What is your favorite holiday?
Today, 16th July, is the Dia de La Virgen del Carmen. I have no interest in the religion part, but the festivities are magical (i.e. pagan).

  3. 1. Two dogs. Four cats. Not all at once.
    2. I think I could live in Paris. If I had the $$.
    3. I'm the outlier. Under.
    4. Impossible to answer. Maybe by category (comedy, drama, action, etc), but I have a short list. One of them being the one you listed
    5. I have no affinity for holidays. Any of them.

  4. 1: Have you owned pets as an adult? We have had Squeaky, Spunky, Vonice, Thomas, Sweety, Lady, Scruffy, Dengoso, Tuxedo, MaxGoldberg, and we now have Ozzo, Consuelo and Rosita.

2: Of all the places you have lived and traveled, if you had to pick one place permanently for the rest of your life to live and never travel again where would it be? Toss up between Portland and San Francisco ... though I'd need a lot of coins for either.

3: The age old question: do you hang the toilet paper roll with the paper coming over or under the roll? Over the top! I am NOT an animal!

4: What is your favourite movie of all time, and why? The Red Violin because it's a fantasy, history, myth, love story all combined into one.

5: What is your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving because it's not about gift but giving thanks.

  6. 1. Yep, still do.
    2. I like where I am, Sacramento adjacent. I refuse to move again!
    3. Over! It's easier to take off of the roll.
    4. I like movies too much to have an all time favorite. That being said, I never get tired of watching Jaws, not for the scare factor but for the acting. Twelve Angry Men is another.
    5. None. I've been set free from that whole rigamarole since I was seventeen.

    2. I love the chemistry between the actors. I read the book first. It sucked and was so depressing. The movie is way better.

2: Of all the places you have lived and traveled, if you had to pick one place permanently for the rest of your life to live and never travel again where would it be? London but really I can't imagine never traveling again.
3: The age old question: do you hang the toilet paper roll with the paper coming over or under the roll? Over
4: What is your favourite movie of all time, and why? Russia House. I like seeing the Russian scenery that obviously, I'll never get to see in person.

  8. 1: Have you owned pets as an adult? Yes, but currently don't have any.

2: Of all the places you have lived and traveled, if you had to pick one place permanently for the rest of your life to live and never travel again where would it be? Hmmmm...

3: The age old question: do you hang the toilet paper roll with the paper coming over or under the roll? Over

4: What is your favourite movie of all time, and why? Dead Poets Society. Robin Williams was absolutely amazing in his role as John Keating, using unorthodox methods to teach at an all boys prep school, inspiring them to break out of their shells and pursue their dreams. Carpe diem!

5: What is your favorite holiday? New Year's Day...beginning the year with a meal full of good luck foods and then looking forward to all kinds of adventures ahead.
