A few weeks ago we went to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, to hear the National Symphony Orchestra play Beethoven's 9th. I think I have posted about that.
We were a few minutes early (aka we were on-time) and took a walk around, and these two ladies were standing there taking in the view of the River. The Wiggs, the Shoes, the whole picture, they were dressed for a Maddie party, and mixing seamlessly with the new and old money of DC and the diplomatic corp.
They do stand out on that terrace.
