Travel Tuesday: Waterford Ireland and along the coast March 2020 (BC)

Waterford is near the Atlantic on the south side of Ireland.  The crystal shop and factory tour had closed a day or two before - thanks to COVID.  So we had lunch, and little wander around, then drove down along the coast for a couple of spectacular hours.  Much more fun than the Crystal works.

  1. The tour of the Waterford factory was quite interesting but maybe your coastal drive was better.

    1. Something I learned from Jay, when traveling, always be flexible. It seldom goes as planned.

  3. Of course, I love all the old buildings, but then you toss in that beautiful coastline and it's magical.

  6. I like those two ancient Celtic chairs in front of the church. Looks like many people have sat in them!

    1. If it wasn't raining, it would have been a nice place to sit. Or maybe I should learn to sit in the rain.

    1. Great coffee in Idaho today. The cafe is Soda Springs was unsure what to do when I asked for iced coffee, I said, ice and coffee, the coffee was strong and made excellent iced coffee, starbucks would have charged twice the price for half the taste.
