The pictures remind me of my stay at the Fleishmann's Estate, The Spillian up in the Adirondack Mountains.
This is a national park lodge.
So beautiful. And, yes, bears do love home delivery.
If you run, they will follow, fast food.
The bear sign made me laugh. Luscious photos.
It was a great trip a few years ago.
Back in 2014 we drove down to Ocean Shores from Port Angeles so must have driven right past Lake Quinault - but did not stop there.
I think it was 2018 we drove down the coast of Washington State all the way to the Oregon border.
Beautiful and picturesque!
Thank you
Such a beautiful place. It's rustic yet comfortable and those trees are wonderful. That car is pretty amazing too.
The car was parked right in front of the lodge
What a beautiful spot. That hotel looks fabulous inside and out, and of course the lake.As for the bears .... 🤷🏼♂️
Sometimes we feed the bears.
Washington is one of the states I haven't visited. I did take in a view of Washington looking across the Colombia River when we visited our daughter who lived in Portland, OR. Your photos are beautiful!
*oops...Columbia River :)
We drove across the River, out near the Pacific coast, because SB had never been to Oregon.
Fancy! Looks expensive!
As I recall it was like $250 a night, we stayed in the old lodge and it was a fun experience.
Glad you enjoyed it but the second to last photo is where I would have spent my time. (and money!)
We had a room on the second floor, with a view of the lake. It would have been easy to stay there longer.
