As I write this, I look out my window into a canopy of vibrant green. Less than 90 days ago, the trees were bare and covered in wet gloppy snow. What a difference a short time can make.
It is exactly eleven weeks since we had the last fall of proper snow in Derbyshire, after a thoroughly miserable wet winter with numerous paralising snowy weeks. Now that I am here in the middle of France, the sun is shining, the birds singing, the roses blooming and the snow seems a lifetime ago.
From what I sort of understand, all of that wet gloppy snow, makes for the vibrant canopy of green. Pretty either way.

And that wet gloppy snow looks beautiful ... in hindsight.
