My answers:
1: What was the last thing you tossed in the trash? A plastic envelope that a greeting card came in.
2: Have you ever pulled something out of the trash and kept it? Yes, I won't say what.
3: Have ever lost both gloves? No, gloves always seem to go one at a time.
4: Have you ever had a hat blow away on the wind? No, but I seldom wear hats.
5: Where do you leave something you want to be rid of, but hope someone else will want? B-3 level of the garage, next to the recycling bins. I sometimes check back to see if something was given a new home.

3. We don't wear gloves.
4. A cap once blew away on a main street in Perth, Australia. A cyclist rode his bike over it and stopped on top of the cap to stop its wind blown journey.
5. Same as you, next to the recycling charity bins in our basement. Or if it is local council hard rubbish collection time, in that stack.

Delete1. One of my Apple earbuds. It's white. I suspect it ended up on a gym towel in the locker room and I tossed said towel into the hamper.

3. No. Just one. Multiple times. Multiple pairs.
4. Yes. Not to the point it was gone forever, but sure.
5. I go on sites that are 'no buy'. And I will give to shelters. I try not to give to places that are going to resell it. I'd rather give it things to someone in need. Needy people still can't buy shit at Goodwill.

5: Where do you leave something you want to be rid of, but hope someone else will want? I usually give it to Habitat for Humanity, or at our local recycling center where people can pick through things and find something they need.
Living in Florida, I was planning a trip to Europe in January, and went shopping for a pair of gloves - that pair of nice leather gloves lasted a long time.
