The Shoes!
I worked in the ladies shoe department in a department store for several months one year. The experience left it's mark on me. I notice things, but then who could overlook these?
Do you notice people's shoes?

dammit, I got #4 & #5 wrong! :(
ReplyDeletenot really; I don't have a shoe fetish. (says the woman who owns only 3 pairs)
anne marie owns only 3 pairs of shoes!?! I notice people's shoes only if they're odd or interesting (the shoes, not the people). Jerry also worked briefly in a shoe department. Winter boots were on sale. A woman found a pair she liked. They were a size 6 and she wore a size 8. She insisted Jerry squeeze them onto her feet to see if they ran large. "Well push!" she yelled.
ReplyDeleteyep, 3 pairs - my everyday clogs, my house slippers, my winter snow boots. that's it. spouse also owns the same 3 pairs.
DeleteI always notice shoes ....I have about thirty pair. Maybe thriry-two because I added two to the collection this past weekend.
ReplyDeleteWell, I missed #5, only because I don't think of insects as animals (yep, that's the reason). Shoes have to really stand out for me to notice them. I always notice shoes on people with little feet because they're so cute, especially compared to my Flintstone size elevens. I used to own, (in my frugal youth) a white pair, a black pair and a brown pair. I figured those three colors went with everything. Now I have multicolored, ugly, comfortable flat shoes coming out my kazoo! It's painful, but if I find my size, and they're cheap, I hop on them! It's a sickness I tell you!
ReplyDeleteyes. And god forbid someone if wearing Crocs. They'll be lucky if I don't take them off and beat there ass with them.
ReplyDeleteI would pay good money to see that, Maddie, especially if you were in drag at the time! Priceless :)
Delete(reminds herself not to wear her crocs next time she sees maddie)
