Sometimes when I look at old buildings, very old buildings, I think about the people who have passed this way before. Were they happy, were they sad, were they afraid or confident, did they pause to take in the wonder of the place, would they recognize it today?
whenever I visit independence hall, I think of the men who sat there and planned our rebellion. boy did THEY know how to RESIST!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of great old southern mansion sin our town and whenever we drive by I always wonder about their "first" families.
ReplyDeleteIn my town it's The Hotel Del Coronado that holds intrigue for me, San Diego is such a new city.
