The first outing with the new camera, was to Mt Vernon. My condo sits on a hill surveyed by George Washington. The Mt Vernon Estate is about a 8 miles away. It is always fun, we went early on a Sunday morning.
This year's lambs are growing up fast.
The hot house and upper garden are looking the best ever.
I am not sure what this is, but I like the way the sunlight makes it come alive.
The verdict on the new camera? I am in love. I still have some learning, it is the most elaborate camera I have ever used. I like the very rapid shutter response. Cameras and lenses are lighter in weight and easier to carry than back in the good old days.
The pictures look great! The color is vivid yet soft I like it. I haven't been to Mt Vernon in years!!!!!!!!! I don't know I mentioned, but my half sister lives in Woodbridge VA. The whole area down there is nice. But why I don't get down more often, I couldn't tell ya. I have several friends in DC's DuPont Circle too.ReplyDelete
I am in Alexandria, just south of the beltway. My office is one stop south of DuPont Circle. Let me know when you are in town.Delete
Thanks for sharing the new camera with us! I haven't been to Mt. Vernon in years. We lived in Georgetown on Rock Creek Park and we used to ride our bikes there. 34 miles round trip and all beautiful. Even the view of the airport.ReplyDelete
I love passing by the airport on my way to and from the office.Delete
