4: Do you still have a working film camera? No. Never had one anyway.

Do you wear a wristwatch? Yes! A huge collection of high end and designer, and el cheapos, with huge faces. The first watch I saved up for was a Gucci watch. I will never have any of those tect watches you can talk in, and I really don't care how many steps I walk either.
No Dick Tracy look for you.

ReplyDelete2. We do not.
3. We do not.
4. I do. Pentax K1000. I've had it since 1977.
5. I have an Apple Watch, if that counts. If not, I don't wear one, but I have several.
There is a collectors cult for the Pentax. I had a Pentax 6x7 - new in about 1977 - sold it a few years later for more than I paid for it. It is worth about five times what I sold it for today.

ReplyDelete2: Do you still have a landline phone? No. We haven't had one for a couple years and I miss it.
3: Do you still have a VHS video cassette player? (Extra points if you have a Betta Max machine.) No.
4: Do you still have a working film camera? Yes, my first 35 mm camera. I haven't used it since getting the DSLR but I have found a couple of rolls of film that need to be developed.
5: Do you wear a wrist watch? I do and when people ask me what time it is, I tell them, "Time to get a watch!"
Someplace in the safe, I have my first watch, a tiny Timex, it must be 60 years old, and a pocket watch that my grandfather bought in a pawn shop in the late 1920's and carried to work for decades.
Delete1: Do you still own and use a CD player? I own one but it doesn't work. The radio part still works so it remains on my shelf.

ReplyDelete2. Nope, not in years.
3. There's one in the garage, unused but I still hang onto it. I still have some VHS taps I'd like to see again.

I wish I hadn't traded away my Canons.
