 1: How old were you when you learned to drive? 

2: If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving?

5: How many cars have you owned over the years? 

My Answers:

 1: How old were you when you learned to drive? 16

2: If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving? Probably. 

3: Can you drive a manual transmission? Yes, it has been a few years. 

4: Have you driven an electric or hybrid car? No

5: How many cars have you owned over the years?  I had to pause and count, 16 of them.

    4: Have you driven an electric or hybrid car? We have our second hybrid. So, yes.
    5: How many cars have you owned over the years? Well, I just got to 13 but think I missed one or two.

    2: If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving? Definitely, and I will when I reach the age when the government requires an annual medical certificate.
    3: Can you drive a manual transmission? Yes, but only just, and it has been a long while since the last time.
    4: Have you driven an electric or hybrid car? No but I would love to own one.
    5: How many cars have you owned over the years? 13 (most of them "co-owned" with two spouses, one F and now one M) and I hope this is the last one (both car and spouse).

    2: If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving? No. I enjoy it...even though everyone else might be happy. I've been told it looks like Cruella DeVile driving.

  4. 1. Early teens, on a farm.
    2. I dislike driving. It is boring, can be stressful and frustrating and my anger levels rise when I am surrounded by stupid drivers. I am happy when a good driver does the driving for me.
    3. Yes, and double de-clutch.
    4. Yes, a friend has one and let me drive it. I liked it.
    5. Two plus joint ownership of three.

  5. 1. 15. I didn't get my license until I was 16.
    2. I love driving. But I think I could do without if I lived in a bigger city such as NYC or WDC where there is decent public transportation,
    3. I can. And I miss it.
    4. I got one as a rental. Prius. It was ok.

  6. 1. How old were you when you learned to drive? 17. I loved riding my bicycle and that was my preferred mode of transportation. Peer pressure pushed me along to get my license.
    2. If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving? Probably but at this point in my life, driving is a necessity to visit kids and family and out-of-town friends.
    3. Can you drive a manual transmission? Yes.
    4. Have you driven an electric or hybrid car. No.
    5. How many cars have you owned over the years? One that was just mine and seven that were co-owned with my hubs but designated as "my" car. He had company cars and "his" cars.

    2. I enjoy driving so will continue as long as I am able to do so safely.
    3. Yes, I learned how to drive on a manual transmission, took my driving test on it and drove stick for nearly 20 years afterwards.
    4. No, I haven't driven an electric or hybrid -- yet.
    5. I'm currently on my 4th car. I keep them for a long time.

    2: If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving? I'd stop owning a car but I still might rent one a drive from time to time.
    3: Can you drive a manual transmission? Yes, I used to be quite good at it.
    4: Have you driven an electric or hybrid car? Not yet.
    5: How many cars have you owned over the years? I think about 8.

  9. 1. I got book larnin' at 17 in school. I didn't get real hands on experience until I was married at 19. It took me until 24 to get my license.
    2. I think I'm already at that point. My introvert has truly kicked in and I panic a little. BH takes me to doctor appointments. Retirement has its perks, heh.
    3. Nope. No one could ever teach me. Too many things to think about at one time.
    4. Nope. They're such silly little things
    5. I've only been co-owner with BH, so 16 over close to 50 years.

  10. 1: How old were you when you learned to drive? 13. I was driving before I had a license. I recall driving my alcoholic father around.
    2: If you didn't have to drive, would you stop driving? Don't know. But to many vehicle on the road. I have no issue taking public transport.

    3: Can you drive a manual transmission? Yes. Our current car had manual transmission.

    4: Have you driven an electric or hybrid car? No.

    5: How many cars have you owned over the years? I couldn't tell you.

    3: Can you drive a manual transmission? I learned on one and haven't driven one more than once or twice since. I could probably get you to a hospital in one, but would only try if it were an emergency.

    4: Have you driven an electric or hybrid car? Never.

    5: How many cars have you owned over the years? This is my 6th car, although Jeffrey and I have always owned all of our cars jointly so, technically, I've owned 9.
