My Music Monday - Chariots of Fire - Vangelis

The photos above are Henry Ford's fiddle, when you have that kind of money you can fiddle around with a Stradivarius.  I dare say the music he made with that instrument would surprise many.  The video today, the theme from Chariots of Fire. I don't think I have ever seen the entire movie. If this music didn't stir my heart, I would consult a physician.

  1. I didn’t know Henry Ford fiddled. Haven‘t seen Chariots of Fire since it first came out. So good!

  3. Years ago I was at a Mexican bar with a friend who got so drunk that when the Muzak played Chariots of Fire she took her margarita, held it above her head, and ran in slow motion around the circular bar.

  4. I saw the movie when it first came out in the early '80s. It was okay but not so great that I've felt compelled to watch it again. But yes, that iconic music! Love it.

  5. I liked that movie but I think the music out-shines it.

  6. I thought that was the most boring movie I had seen to date. Like Debs, don't know I would watch again. The music from it was lovely.
