Five Things That May Surprise You



Five things about me, that may surprise you. 
  1. I have an ex-wife.  
  2. I own guns, I grew up with them. 
  3. I was 34 when I finished my first college degree (I turned 40 the week I started my last year of law school.) 
  4. I have had the same cell (mobile) number for over 20 years. 
  5. I have never lost or broken a mobile phone.

    1. I have 2 college degrees, and have never used either of them on a job.

    2. I have not watched tv since 1999; rots the mind.

    3. I haven’t been on an airplane since 1990.

    4. I like performing RAKs (random acts of kindness).

    5. I have never had a child/been pregnant.

    1- I have been with all three political parties. Democrat for years now...but really should be a independant.

    2- I sang every year of school with the school choir and church choir.

    3-Never been nor do I desire to take a cruise.

    4- I have a half brother and sister.

    5- I'm actually an alien...and will be reporting back to superiors my latest findings. Gurd your loins.

    What you see on my blog is me. I am not sure there is much I don't talk about except work and my personal sex life. I grew up with guns and then saw the error of them. I think I bought my first, very expensive, mobile phone in about 1996. I have the same phone number. I did once lose a phone but it was handed in and I collected it. I am trying to think of something surprising about me.......Is it surprising that I have seen the Queen of Australia and Yoko Ono from a distance of about 20 metres? Is it surprising that by the age of 11 or 12 I found men so hot and attractive. Mind, I couldn't imagine at that age what one might do with them. I made up for that later. Lol at MM's 5th point.

      Few of us talk about our work. My employment contract says, if I do, my employer owns the blog. I will retire someday - I know the date.

    1.I have shot guns before, found it kinda fun, but could never own one.
    2.Never smoked in my life; not even a puff.
    3.I am the middle neglected child which makes me extremely independent.
    4.I am incredibly shy in situations unfamiliar to me; INCREDIBLY.
    5.I have an uncanny knack at seeing both sides to a story. I may not agree with both sides, but I see them and understand them.

      In law school, I was trained to prepare the other side of the case, to help me better understand my side. I see too many advocates who have never thought of the other side.

    I do not have an ex-wife. I have a trail of ex-girlfriends. One serious.
    As for the rest on your list: We have absolutely nothing in common (on the list).

    1. I have two ex-husbands. Third time was the right one. He also has two ex-wives.
    2. I am extremely profane, more so as I get older and Trump stays in office. Why surprising? My dad was an ordained minister, but by the time I came along, he no longer led a church congregation but was a theology professor at a university.
    3. I weighed 120 pounds in college, now it is 170, I am embarrassed to say.
    4. I have been in 49 of the 50 states, only Hawaii left.
    5. I own a small handgun that is registered; my husband has too many to count. He is a collector, not a nut. I told him that when he dies, I am calling in my niece and her husband (police officers) to deal with them. I hate to think of how much money he has spent over the years on weapons. What a waste.

      SURPRISE! I would sit in a corner and just listen to y'all talk. By the way, is that orangey thing a flower, sea creature or radioactive grubs having a party? It is very pretty.

    I did not know (or perhaps have forgotten) you had an ex-wife, nor do I know you own guns. The notion you have never lost or broken a mobile phone sounds sinister as if you had sold your soul to Satan in return

    Oh my, I'll have to think about this one.
    1. I studied acting/drama in school.
    2. I went to parochial school until the 5th grade. The experience left its mark.
    3. All of my close friends are about 20 years younger than me.
    4. The best things that have happened in my careers is getting laid off. I always came back with a new and happier career.
    5. I can't swim.
