Is it time for my Nap?

I remember hating nap time in kindergarten.  Naps were for babies and I was in school, I was grown up.  Fifty odd years later, I love the luxury of an afternoon nap, when I can.  Close the blinds, my bedroom is wonderfully dark, turn off the noises, and drift off for 15 minutes to an hour.  The older I get the better the naps are.  I am starting to think about retiring, stopping working full time (4 years 2 months!) In addition to traveling when I want to, I am looking forward to generous afternoon nap times.

Do you nap?

  1. Yes. One of life luxuries. It been proved a 15 20 minute nap improves performance, and is good for the mind.

  3. Jerry has his daily siesta and can’t live without it. I have one now and again but my worst (mood) time is when I wake up, so I try to avoid having to go through THAT twice in one day. It sure is nice to be able nap when needed, though.

  4. Yes I nap, increasingly so. And if I don't get my nap, I can get grouchy.

  5. I nap, but not on purpose. Sit me in front of a television or computer screen mid-afternoon and I'm gone! If I lay in a bed I wake right up.
