  1. 1. Print for biographies (I like pictures). E-books for everything else. My eyes have a hard time focusing on print now. I can adjust the font size on an e-book and, since I read mostly at night, I don't have to bother with a lamp.

    2. It's been a long while since they've been closing all over the place.

    3. Not anymore. I could've opened my own bookstore, hence another reason for the kindle.

    4. I read one at a time back-to-back to back.

    5. Too hard to count.

2: When was the last time you were in a physical book store? 2 year ago in NCY.

3: Are you running out of bookshelf space? No. Ever since donating box upon box of books before our move to Spain, I’ve kept things under control.

4: How many books are you reading right now? One at a time.

5: What book have you read the most times? Hmmm... A toss up between “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass.”

    1. I have great respect for books, but E-books are so easy to read and very portable.
    2. I was in a bookstore a couple of weeks ago. I can't remember why, but I didn't buy a book.
    3. Our book shelves are full. There one small box in a wardrobe full of very old books, but we are not adding to the bookshelves.
    4. Just one, but I have at times had two on the go.
    5. The Cousin from Fiji. It is a good and easy read.

  5. 1. I tried ebooks on an ipad mini. not a fan. I prefer the old fashion book.
    2. Due to covid it's been a while. Maybe 1 year ago, in and out. I usually like to linger and browse.
    3. We did a purge when we moved 20 months ago. There is currently some room on our shelves. But husband reads ebooks only, so we won't fill up as fast as we had in the past.
    4. Two. I really need to focus on one at a time.
    5. Salinger. I rarely reread books, as there are so many out there to tackle. But I do love J.D. Salinger.

  6. 1. I prefer print books but I have to read e-books now so I can increase the font size so I can see to read them. Getting old is hell.
    2. I was probably last in a bookstore in November. I like to browse even though there's no point in my buying print books now. I just like to see what's out there. I can always get an e-book version.
    3. Not an issue with e-books! I had a big clearout of print books a few years ago, so am not overburdened with them now.
    4. Theoretically, I've got 3 on the go right now.
    5. It would have to be a toss-up between Anne of Green Gables, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Watership Down.

  8. 1: Do you prefer Print or E-books? Prefer Print books, but like Mitchell, appreciate the ease, convention, portability, and space saving of e-books.

2: When was the last time you were in a physical book store? Haven't been in a book store since before the Pandemic, but always love going into independent book stores any time we travel anywhere.

3: Are you running out of bookshelf space? No. I ran out of comic book space and switched exclusively to digital comics for comics, but we've never held onto books, so only have a small cabinet of "waiting to be read" books. I will always want at least a few print books in the house. Sometimes I consider buying hardcover runs of books I have read as "display" items (Chronicles of Narnia, Piers Anthony's Xanth Novels, Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, Harry Potter.) but we don't have the room.

4: How many books are you reading right now? 3 (and daily comics.)

5: What book have you read the most times? I re-read my comic books over and over and over. I haven't re-read a lot of books, but probably have read "James and the Giant Peach" and "A Prayer for Owen Meany" the most. I do love revisiting almost any book by David Sedaris or Augusten Burroughs. I've read a few of their books 3 or 4 times.

5: What book have you read the most times? Probably a tie between Stephen King's The Stand, the original and the edited versions, and Openly Bob, abour comedian Bob Smith's life and coming out.
