My Music Monday - The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun

For those of us on the northern half of the world, there are a few more minutes of sunlight each day.  The darkest, but likely not the coldest days of the winter have passed.

You getting more means we are getting less, but it will be long time here before early darkness.

I'm not a Beatles fan but I like Here Comes the Sun. It's so cheerful.

  3. Though the days are beginning to get a bit longer, I woke up this morning to a snow day from school! Amen to winter as I didn't want to go back to school this morning. One more day of winter break!

  4. We've been wearing shorts and having windows open and sitting outside for nearly a week now.
Today the temperature will not break 50-degrees.
What's all this talk about climate change?

  5. A perfect song for here in AZ where the sun is back and warmer weather is on the way. However, it is still dark as I'm typing this.

  7. Let's not count our chickens.
Here in PHX the sunrise actually drops a few minutes after the solstice while the evening slowly gets a minute per day added. The morning sunshine doesn't return until 15 January.

  8. I'm actually enjoying the dark. It's nice to go to bed at five or six when I want. Harder to do with sun. I never liked this song. Sue me. Not a big Beatles fan.
