  1. 1. No problem.
    2. Why?

  2. 1. I have no problem whatsoever with holding frogs.

    2. No. I have small dogs and a leery husband. I personally like snakes and my youngest sister always had them as an adult.

    3. I don't know. I hear we have a crick nearby, so I'll have to check it out.

    4. I don't remember frogs. I remember dissecting some weird, black and red, very large grasshopper thingy, and a fish.

    5. Turn into a prince? Only if you spot any wearing purple clothes with ruffly shirts. Check the upper lip for a teeny tiny mustache. On the other hand, my father always said BH reminded him of Kermit the Frog and he's my prince, so...

    2. I grew up near a couple of cemeteries, and there were ponds. We'd go and on occasion grab an itty-bitty frog or two. I stopped doing that when the teenage neighbor girl decided to cut one open while still alive (the frog, not the girl) to play doctor. I cried for days. Why she was trying to traumatize an eight-year-old, who knows? I can't and won't harm a frog to this very day. Now spiders on the other hand....

    1. I would not mind holding a frog.
    2. I don't like snakes.
    3. About 500 metres away.
    4. No. There were scalpels for dissection but we never cut up a critter.
    5. The prince, in frog form or any other form never came, so I settled for a nice person.

    2. Hee hee! I await Maddie’s answer to THAT question. You and I probably shouldn’t have hit The Mistress with Crocs and frogs on the same day.

    4. I hate Trump and Amazon. And I love chic designers with quick wits and a propensity for drag.

2: Would you keep a snake as a pet? I have, but again, probably not now.

  8. 1. It's been decades. I think it's all fine.
    2. Noooooooo.
    3. We have a brook about 1/4 mile from the house. I'm sure they thrive there.
    4. We did. I let my lab partner do most of the work, mostly because I'm an oaf and indelicate.
    5. My lab partner had a better chance than the frog.

  11. Frog in the hand - Mostly worry about hurting them. Very delicate skins.
Snake as a pet - Worked at a nature center that had snakes. Would love to have a Fox Snake. They are sweethearts. Very soothing to handle a tamed snake.
How near the house is a good place for frogs? We've some tree frogs in the oaks.
Did you dissect frogs in school. Not frogs, but crawdads. Took several apart, but nobody every told me what the things did in the environment. Dissection for beginners is off-putting, took me years to get over it and find out I really love science.
Would they turn to princes? They are already princes in their own way. They don't need our crowns or kisses.
