My Music Mondau - Kim Carnes - Paris Without You

This one is a little long, but there are no images, so you can leave it playing in the background and open another window while it plays.  The song was written and first recorded by Don Potter.  The jazz station in Winter Park, Florida started playing it while I was in undergraduate and I fell in love with the words.  The romance of the adventure of travel.  This version has a nice softness to it.

    1. She does a good job, Don Potter focussed on "christian contemporary music" I like his version, but his politics I find troubling.

  2. That's a fun photo. I've always enjoyed Kim Carnes smokey voice.

  3. Wow, that's beautiful. I don't think I had ever heard it before. I think there is a little something in the words for anyone who has ever been to Paris.

  5. This is so pretty. Would you believe, when I first heard Bette Davis Eyes, I thought it was Rod Stewart singing? She has a lovely rasp to her voice.
