Graceful Until Riled
When I lived in Orlando there were a couple of pairs of Swans that lived on and around Lake Eola downtown. People were always impressed by how graceful the swans were. They are pretty birds. The city was very excited one spring when one of the pairs started nesting and eggs appeared, then hatchlings. Then the lookie-loos got a little close, and mamma and poppa swans became riled. Wings flapping and beaks biting, a couple of people got bit, or hit, several were run into the lake. We all have our tipping point.
Are you like a swan, graceful until provoked?

it takes me a while before I explode. but when I do, I am a category F5 hurricane/tornado rolled into one! "don't make me angry, you would not like to see me angry" - incredible hulk
ReplyDeleteAnd Warrior Queen?
DeleteI'm never particularly graceful, lol.
ReplyDeleteI bet there are some stories to be heard
DeleteI love when wild animals put stupid people in their place! As long as no one gets hurt... put a little pants peeing is pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteI don't blow up but I will push back.
I don't push back often enough
DeleteI'm graceful like one of those tutu wearing hippos in Fantasia. It takes a lot to get me riled, and it's been that way as long as I can remember. My sisters learned never to get me to the point of tears. I feel no pain, and someone has to pull me off of the offender. I figure (since it is so very hard to get me fighting mad) that whoever goes to the trouble of getting me riled, deserves to get maimed! It is probably a good thing that I am normally sweet tempered :)
ReplyDeleteDon't pass the tipping point.
DeleteI don’t know about graceful... but kind of pleasant, yes.
ReplyDeleteAlways pleasant, until provoked.
DeleteI am more hedgehog: when jostled I crawl into a ball.
