Going With The Flow

I have mellowed, since I have lived in the city, gotten a little older, been through a few of life's challenges.  In the past I was pushy in a crowd, worming my way through the throng.  Today I am more likely to slow down, wait for people to move along.  I still have my moments of impatience.  Impatience is such a waste of energy, we will all get to the grave on time, what we do between here and there is all part of the adventure.

Do slow pedestrians drive you crazy?

  1. YES, in the grocery store! all I wanna do is grab-n-go, and I have to deal with idiots on their cell phones standing in my way.

  3. Slowly moving (but still moving) people don't bother me so much as the ones who just stand there in my way for no apparent reason.

  4. Not slow just those who are oblivious to those around them. I dodged four people just this morning who were texting as they walked at full speed. Argh!

  5. I AM a slow pedestrian! Always have been. Drives Balder Half nuts! I 'm usually just in my own head. That's how I've always dealt with being in public. BH usually admonishes me about blocking a grocery aisle when shopping. I try to leave him at home :) I still don't understand people who have to be on a cell phone no matter what else they're doing.
