I played the tuba in a school band for a couple of years, not very well, I have visual spatial issues that make reading music a challenge, and the music teacher had no idea how to teach around that. One of the few modern classics we played was Moon River.
A fave of mine too, full of bittersweet longing.ReplyDelete
Even out of context, it is gentle and flowing,Delete
A favorite song of mine in a favorite film of mine.ReplyDelete
It has been a long time since I have seen the filmDelete
It's such a beautiful melody. Instantly recognizable. I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's because I found it on HBO. Love that movie.
Nice way to start the weekDelete
(the original version)
I didn't know you played a tuba!
one of my many mysteriesDelete

Not cheerful or perky chirpyDelete
That's a song I hadn't heard in a long time.ReplyDelete
I have eclectic taste in musicDelete
Nicely played and with some passion. I didn't know the song came from a movie sound track.ReplyDelete
When I played piano I remember playing this.ReplyDelete
