The Sunday Five - Good Year or Bad Year?

How did the year treat you, Good or Bad

1: Was it a good year or bad year for money?

2: Health, was it a good year or bad year for your health?

3: Relationships, was it a good year or bad year?

4: Happiness, was it a good year or bad year?

5: Looking into 2022, are you thinking good year or bad year?

My Answers:

1: Was it a good year or bad year for money?  Prices are up, but so are values and investments, good year for us.

2: Health, was it a good year or bad year for your health? Good Year, we remain relatively alive.

3: Relationships, was it a good year or bad year? Good, and in a strange way, I excluded some toxic people from my life.

4: Happiness, was it a good year or bad year? Good year, busy, but happy.

5: Looking into 2022, are you thinking good year or bad year? A good year, I can see some challenges, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    4. Yes, happy enough.
    5. 2022 should be much the same.

  3. 1. Decent. Our retirement accounts took hit after hit, but for our cash-on-hand, is good. We don't spend much. The pandemic kind of helped that
    2. UGH. Had you asked me 2 weeks ago......frickin' back! Other than that, fine.
    3. Listen - 2 years into almost always being together and no one has died? I'm calling it a win.
    4. Happy enough. It's been a stressful 24 mos.
    5. I'm going with status quo, but leaning to bad. Mid-terms and fucked up people and their illogical everything. This isn't going to bode well. And the pandemic is going nowhere.

2: Health, was it a good year or bad year for your health? Good, though some growing older aches and pains here and there. Carlos' eyesight is worsening, but that was expected.

3: Relationships, was it a good year or bad year? For Carlos and me, good; for some of our family members and us, not so much.

4: Happiness, was it a good year or bad year? It was happy and unhappy and life tends to be, but for the most part, happy.

5: Looking into 2022, are you thinking good year or bad year? I am crossing my fingers every singe day.

  7. Was it a good year or bad year for money? Good. Thought I only just started working in May from the pandemic, I held on to my severance, and an investment and stocks. And they did very good. Like Andrew said, very little to spend it on. I haven't shopped like normal, and still no huge trips abroad.

Health, was it a good year or bad year for your health? Very good. Another year without getting sick or colds. I swear by my nightly gins.

Relationships, was it a good year or bad year? Very Good.

Happiness, was it a good year or bad year? Relatively good, with exception to losing a few f good friends and family.

Looking into 2022, are you thinking good year or bad year? I approach every new year with positive thoughts.

Hope you holiday was a good one.

  8. this is a good one on which to ponder:
1: Was it a good year or bad year for money? I will know on 31 December when I compare to last year this time - if 'more or less' than last year is the right way to view it.

2: Health, was it a good year or bad year for your health? Mixed for me. I didn't die, which is a good sign. My BP was contained (hurrah!) and I got back the the gym (good!) BUT i am borderline on DM - not good at all.

3: Relationships, was it a good year or bad year? Good. I kept in touch with folks.

4: Happiness, was it a good year or bad year? Yes, it was a good year, for often I felt well and content with my lot. Often .

5: Looking into 2022, are you thinking good year or bad year? Regardless I plan to do the Right Thing always.

  9. 1: Was it a good year or bad year for money? Good, because we didn't take any trips, go out to eat more than once or twice, car maintenance and gas use was much lower since I'm working from home, and no big expenditures. Even with the price of everything going up, we are growing our savings much faster during the pandemic.

2: Health, was it a good year or bad year for your health? Bad. Bad. Bad. But ended on (mostly) a good note in time for us to enjoy the holidays.

3: Relationships, was it a good year or bad year? Good. Hubby and I grew even closer, as we did with our small circle of friends, even with the continuing freeze on in-person visits. And I found out who was really there for me when I needed it this year.

4: Happiness, was it a good year or bad year? Probably more bad then good, but we survived it and there is a special kind of happiness that comes with overcoming things you weren't sure you could.

5: Looking into 2022, are you thinking good year or bad year. Mixed. While the pandemic continues, I carry sadness for those who have suffered most, and those who have contributed to it's longevity and spread. But I am entering 2022 with stable health, and after last year, I just can't believe this year won't be better for me, personally.
