I have the urge to see if I can go 24 hours without looking at Facebook. What a radical idea, to disconnect from my connected world for 24 hours. Should I do it? Can I make it 24 hours? When should I try?
The shoes, a compulsive posting for some special friends on Facebook over the weekend. Great colors - why don't men's shoes come in great colors?
cause men are wimps and won't wear colors.
ReplyDeleteNO ONE needs facebork, or twitter. never had an account and never will.
Excuse me? Pink is my best friend.

I recently bought myself brilliant translucent blue runner shoes (I don't run) with bright red strings. I love them and wear them with jeans to show million dollar homes. I'm not your typical agent.
ReplyDeleteOh ...and although Fearsome does have his own F-book page we don't go there use it. Blogging, e mail and work are way more than enough.
DeleteI almost always wear running shoes - I use the excuse that I had part of my spine rebuilt and I need to be careful. I bought a pair in Orange last spring, and enjoyed them so much that I bought a second pair that are in the box for this coming spring. I bought a pair of bright blue Nikes over the weekend (they would look good with red laces.) I have a pair in neon green I bought a few years ago, that glow in the dark.
DeleteI took the plunge, this is my FB free Thursday. Messenger items pop up on my phone (two so far today) but I am going to try to resist the sirens call for a day.
ReplyDeleteI had lime-green basketball shoes back in the 70s.
ReplyDeleteThey were in the 'bargain bin' at the Zayre department store...about $5.00.
