Back in March of 2019 we came to New York, I had a meeting to attend. The weather was ugly, not quite snow, not really rain, just cold and wet, then it snowed. I succeeded at finding the worst restaurants in town, the first couple of nights, then we turned the corner and found Juniors, New York cheesecake and deli classics.
Last summer when we came, I found one hit after another, starting with a Kosher French restaurant, and lunch on the 110th floor. This trip it has been one hit after another. Back to Juniors for about the third time. then tried Ben's Kosher, and Thursday the Queensyard Grill at Hudson Yard. These were the starters, a wedge salad and chicken-liver
It ain't cheap, but there is a lot of great food in this town.
It's not a problem really but if we find somewhere to dine we really like when travelling, we tend to keep going back and thereby miss out on other excellent places.ReplyDelete
Poor editing on my part, Juniors was a repeat, the rest are new experiences. Good Chinese inspired last night.Delete
I agree; you find a place you like and keep going back, so we always try to make it to some place new.ReplyDelete
I love that retro Juniors menu, though.
And the food is wonderful, just off Times SquareDelete
Myself, I had a black and white cookie after breakfast yesterday and one yesterday evening. Pure protein!ReplyDelete
Sounds like you enjoyed themDelete
I had some very good meals in New York last year when I was there. Like you said pricey but good.ReplyDelete
