Sunday Five Harry Potter

A year or so, after the first Harry Potter book came out, I was driving to Florida to visit my parents.  I stopped at a hotel someplace in South Carolina for the night, in the lobby was a book case full of books, the sign said, take it with you, read it, leave it behind at another hotel.  I looked over the selection, pulled the Sorcerer's Stone and stuffed it in my bag.  I started to read it, and could hardly put it down.  I ended up reading all of the books, seeing all of the movies.

1: Did you read the Harry Potter books?
2: Have you seen all of the movies?
3: What character are you most like?
4: What class would you most like to take at Hogwarts?
5: If Polyjuice potion was real, who would you want to impersonate for a couple of hours?

My Answers:
1: Did you read the Harry Potter Books? Yes, all of them.
2: Have you seen all of the movies? At least twice.
3: What character are you most like? Neville Longbottom, kind of a nerdy late bloomer.
4: What class would you most like to take at Hogwarts?  Potions
5: If Polyjuice potion was real, who would you want to impersonate for a couple of hours? He Who Must Not be Named at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave - boy could I have some fun with his Twitter account.

Your answers in the comments, please!

  1. I just could NOT get into Harry Potter. I tried to read the first book but failed. I did watch the first movie but was unimpressed and never watched any of the others. I did like Professor Snape though simply because I'm a big Alan Rickman fan.

yeah, I know, I'm a party pooper. I have seen bits and pieces of the first movie and thought "WTF is this shit?" guess I'm not into fantasy/make believe.

    1. Rare for me, I am not usually a fiction reader, but the characters were well developed and the writing was excellent.

  3. 1: Did you read the Harry Potter books? All of them.
2: Have you seen all of the movies? Several times each.
3: What character are you most like? Not sure, never thought about it. I like Hagrid a bunch.
4: What class would you most like to take at Hogwarts . Again, never thought about it.
5: If Polyjuice potion was real, who would you want to impersonate for a couple of hours? I'm with you, I'd impersonate our "leader" and resign, effective immediately, and walk out of the White House. Do you think it would stick? (I know, it would leave us with Pence and Mother, but it would be a start.)

  4. 1: Did you read the Harry Potter books? Twice (at least)
2: Have you seen all of the movies? Nooooooo .... I haven't seen the last one.
3: What character are you most like? I have never thought about that... and now that I think about it, I have no clue.
4: What class would you most like to take at Hogwarts? It would be between Charms and Flying Lessons. Can I do both?
5: If Polyjuice potion was real, who would you want to impersonate for a couple of hours? This also stumps me. I might be pondering that instead of sleeping tonight.
