I understand there is/was a private apartment in the castle in Florida, with a private elevator. At one time, you could book it as a private hotel room. Walt also had a private apartment over the fire station on Main Street.
The Most Magical Place on Earth for a lot of people. We took our kids there once and had a blast. Our daughters had a high school cheerleading competition there and again we had a blast, but that's been it for our Disney visits and that's fine with me.
I have no idea why, but I have never been a fan of Walt Disney World or Florida...to the dismay of several friends.

ReplyDeleteI have been probably 100 times, I am not sure I will ever go back.
DeleteI went once shortly after moving to Miami; it's fun, EPCOT was fun.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had access to everything, I would go to the Magic Kingdom - I often went out had lunch and rode the train around, and left.

ReplyDeleteI have been through the back stage side, down the tunnel under Main Street. My middle brother worked there for 43 years.

DeleteI have never been to Disney World. Disneyland in California, many times, but never Orlando.
