Would you We have watched a couple of series on Prime Video of guys traveling England’s canals on Narrow boats. From a cross country train, here are some narrow boats. Hiring one for a week sounds like fun some day. Care to join us?
We, too, have enjoyed shows on the narrow boats. However, we’re in agreement that we wouldn’t be happy for long. Claustrophobia, especially for SG. Many have ceilings that are exactly my height or less. And the stress of getting through those locks and narrow, shallow passages. Oh, and then there are the jerks who don’t respect right of way. Fun to watch though!
While I am not commenting while on holidays, check out the quite sweet Robbie Cumming narrow boating on YouTube. BBC picked him up and he is now on tv.
