Strange Facts that may or may not be true

I have been reading again, this time The Female Brain. Two facts stood out:

1: In testing 10% of men who thought they were the father of a child, proved not to be so.  Busting the myth of female fidelity.

2: If a female sheep does not smell and bond with a newborn lamb withing 5 minutes, she will reject the lamb and keep it from nursing.

Read any strange facts recently?

  1. Why yes, yes I did. Someone told me Trump was President? I didn't know we had a President?

But on a serious note, I did just learn a dog has such an acute keen smell, they can smell their owner from three doors away from there own house, they can smell storms that are an hour or so away, and they can smell things on a site that happened up to two weeks prior.

I think I've seen worse figures for fathers in England. Do I recall 15%? In a day or so I will publish something about DNA testing.

I read or hear strange facts all the time, but they just don't stick in my head, so I don't have any. Ok, got one. It was assumed that our black swans were life partners and they are, except once tests started to be done, it was found that they are not faithful life partners and so to speak, screw around.

  3. Like Maddy, I’ve heard a hard to believe fact about who has been living (part-time) in the White House. And I also recently was told our Brian’s are 60 percent fat. And that would explain how the orange turd got there.
