  2. 1. I'm sorry to say none. But I didn't hit a lot of them this last week.
    2. I cannot say that one has.
    3. I am in between books. So it's been a lazy week for me.
    4. We had some excellent corn on the cob. And cherries this year have been phenomenal.
    5. I suppose running. It's a lot of work, but still it keeps stress and depression at bay.

    3: What have you read this week? I am rereading In The Spirit of Crazy Horse.
    4: What was the best thing you have eaten this week? One of our favorite breakfast spots in Camden is closing their doors so we went to breakfast yesterday and I had corned beef hash topped with a scrambled egg and a homemade biscuit; I'm gonna miss that place.
    5: What was most relaxing for you this week? A light bit of meditation in our still bare sunroom--we're waiting for the ceiling to be repaired--listening to the sounds of the back yard and holding a cat.

    3. I just finished Pat Barker's "The Silence of the Girls" (retelling of the Iliad from the POV of the women of Troy) -- highly recommended!
    4. Best thing I ate was homemade peach crisp and vanilla ice cream.
    5. Most relaxing thing was having friends over to eat the peach crisp I made!

  5. 1: What blog made you laugh this week? My own - about the Japanese bear and of course Bruce Taylor's "Friday Funnies" plus Bob Slatten's idiosyncratic "I Should Be Laughing".
    2: What blog made you think this week? Steve Reed's "Shadows and Light" and of course the deeply philosophical "Wicked Hamster" blog. Mary Moon's "Bless Our Hearts" is always a great read.
    3: What have you read this week? I am devouring "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall" by Anne Bronte but only halfway through.
    4: What was the best thing you have eaten this week? My own bramble pie with vanilla ice cream.
    5: What was most relaxing for you this week? Sleeping in my bed. Zzzzzzzz!

    3. Finished a mystery by Martha Grimes - part of her Richard Jury series.
    4. Vanilla ice cream topped with a cherry sauce that a friend made.

  7. 1: What blog made you laugh this week? I tend to chuckle at lots of different blog posts.
    2: What blog made you think this week? Travel Penguin always makes me think about things especially travel experiences.
    3: What have you read this week? Many, many things in the New York Times and a few things in The Atlantic.
    4: What was the best thing you have eaten this week? I made a Panzanella salad with some great looking heirloom tomatoes and it was delicious.
    5: What was most relaxing for you this week? Yesterday it was cool enough to sit on my balcony in the morning. I took the laptop and sat on the balcony from 7:00 AM to about 10:30 AM. That is truly a rare experience in July in Phoenix.
