Out to lunch

A bright sunny day in Portland.  I have noticed that the sun, even when bright, is softer then farther south. The quality of the light can trigger memories of place. Contrast, shadow and vividness of color vary with the nature of the light. 

I am out to lunch.  The morning session I was worried about went very well.  The toughest of the work is done.
