George Washington had a great view from the rambling front porch out over the Potomac. Really quite wonderful. The front lawn is a favorite landing ground for Canada Geese, and you know the old saying out something going through like grass through a goose. The front lawn is peppered with goose droppings. I am glad it was not on my shoes. TR
