Beautiful! It's been a long time since I visited Mt. Vernon.
I have guest passes - come visit
Beautiful. Your visits to Mt. Vernon always bring back great memories.
It is a great place for a nice walk.
The first photo is such a lovely scene. I always like seeing sheep.
The lambs are so cute.
Love George's sheep, and his flowers!
The sheep are always a highlight for me.
It is said that the sons of Welsh farmers are also great sheep lovers.
You have taken your loyal blog fanbase to Mount Vernon a few times now and I always love the visits. It looks like a well-maintained, low key and peaceful kind of place. No need for ostentatious triumphal arches or vulgar decorative gilding there.
A non-royal estate.
Oh, the wee lambkins!
Some of them were very small.
Like stepping into the past - a much different time.
Very much as it was in the 1790's.
Bah-bahs!!! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Such wooleyness
Spring blooms and spring lambs. Very nice.
I just finished reading a book that used the term Woolpower, lots of it this time of the year.
Beautiful flowers and sweet little lambs.
The upper garden flowers all summer.
George Washington would approve!
Would he be elected today?
I hope so
