My Answers:
1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? I am probably more of an extrovert, but I am also very comfortable spending time alone.
2: How do you cope with People? As long as they are not trying to hurt me, I ignore them.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? I can be perfectly alone in a city, I don't really like crowds.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? Very-very seldom.
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? Everytime I drive my car, I wonder how some these people made it out of their driveway without hitting anything.

1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? Totally introvert
ReplyDelete2: How do you cope with People? One on one if I really have to deal with people. Six (myself included) if it is a small group.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? In a city there is more infrastructure to support independence and solitary living.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? Don't taunt me...
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? Although I feel that there are some people in the world who might benefit from constant adult supervision, I find it unseemly to speculate about the intimate domestic affairs of others. Let's just say that I hope that others are trying their best and that there are kind and loving persons in their lives who sustain their spirits and are willing and able to provide assistance as necessary.

I like your answer to #5.
DeleteAre you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? Extrovert...but I too enjoy my alone time.
ReplyDeleteHow do you cope with People? Have them rubbed out.
Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? The country. When I lived in a city, people are more apt to just pop in all the time.
Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? I am very easy going, but am very detailed and OCD at work.
When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? Everyday!!! Some of the things people and coworkers' wear...I'm very Karen Walker. Hmmmm honey...what is going on here, what's this about, what's all this called? Do you not own a mirror? *rolls eyes*
I can imagine you being mindful of the details.
Delete1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? I’m a mix.
ReplyDelete2: How do you cope with People? Sometimes, not very well.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? Interesting. I think, for me, the city.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? Not intentionally.
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? Surprisingly, I can’t remember the last time.
I get the idea that you talk to strangers, I do too.
Delete1. Introvert, but I pretend I am not at times.
ReplyDelete2. People are fine. They are just people.
3. This rather depends on whether you are an outgoing person
4. No, I am not difficult. I am perfectly pleasant, as I grit my teeth.
5. My amputee friend James O'Brien makes it out of his every day.
And people are all a little different, in our own weird ways.
Delete1. I used to be firmly in the Extrovert category. I am not borderline I/E.
ReplyDelete2. I find myself avoiding people as much as possible - unfortunately even those I know with whom I am friendly. Covid and Political Divide have made me more insular.
3. I think it is easy anywhere. If you don't put yourself out there even a little you can be lonely.
4. I'm sure there are times I was. I don't think so anymore.
5. No one in particular, but you see people at stores who can barely walk or even stand up and I wonder how they do it. I figured in a few years I might find out personally.
Bumper sticker, "I used to be a people person, but people ruined that for me."
Delete1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? I'm that oddball. I am painfully shy in a group setting where I don't know many people, but at work, possibly because I'm in charge, and in groups with friends, I am quite the extrovert.
ReplyDelete2: How do you cope with People? I mostly don't like them. But the ones I like I like a lot.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? In the city, because there are so many people, you can be alone because no one sees you as they are all on about their day. In out little town, there is always someone who knows me, or knows Carlos or knows where I work.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? I would say No but others might say Yes.
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? Nearly ever day I have to go in to work. I seriously don't know how some people survive without handlers.
Your answer to number 2, reminds me of most cats I have known.
DeleteI guess that's why I'm a cat person?
Delete1. I'm an introvert, with flashes of extroversion as needed.
ReplyDelete2. I cope with people using good boundaries, distancing techniques, and (if all else fails) a good tongue-lashing.
3. I refuse to live in any suffocating rural setting.
4. Intentionally difficult, MOI? I don't try to do it intentionally. Except when they deserve it (see "good tongue-lashing," above.)
5. I used to work with a couple of lawyers, extremely smart, but how they survived in the real world, I'll never know.

3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? A city.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? Very seldom.
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? I always wonder how people get home alive or not falling flat on their faces while walking, totally engrossed with their phones. They're oblivious to their surroundings.
People driving with a phone in one hand, how do they stay alive
Delete1. I think I might be both - depending on the situation.
ReplyDelete2. I'm pretty nice.
3. Both?
4. I don't think of it as being difficult but I might be determined.
5. I've never thought of that.
Regarding question 4, the older I get, the more likely I am to think, none of this will matter someday, and walk away.
Delete1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? I think I'm more introvert than extrovert. Let's say I have a little of both.
ReplyDelete2: How do you cope with People? I mostly ignore the ones who try to make life difficult.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? I can easily be alone in the city.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? Rarely.
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? Just last week when I had to work with someone who obviously got up on the wrong side of the bed.
Most people go away if you ignore them.
Delete1: I'm really an introvert, people don't believe this, but I adopted an extrovert style very early in my childhood as a defense mechanism.
ReplyDelete2: Still looking for someone who makes a pocket flamethrower.
3: It's much easier to be anonymous in a city.
4: I don't see myself as being difficult--much less intentionally being so. (Perhaps I am wrong?)
5: Every time I encounter a car with a Maryland plate, esp. if it's a Toyota.
A Corolla with Maryland plates is a giant warning sign.
Delete1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? I am both. Sometimes extrovert. Sometimes an introvert.
ReplyDelete2: How do you cope with People? I have never really thought about that. Individual people are different from each other so I cope with them in different ways.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? In the country because there are less people out there but in terms of actually living there, I would say that the city is easier if you get my drift. It is easier to be anonymous in a city.
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? Never! (I am lying)
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? I have never wondered that and I do not understand what spawned such a question.
You, be difficult?
Delete1: Are you an introvert, or an extrovert by nature? introvert by nature but extrovert by practice.
ReplyDelete2: How do you cope with People? Trying at all times to remember if I can find some connection, some humanity, I can see past their hurts and personas.
3: Is it easier to be alone in a city or the country? City
4: Are you ever intentionally difficult, just because you feel like being difficult? No. Even when frustrated I remain The Gentleman Good Boy.
5: When was the last time you wondered how someone made it out of the house without assistance? This morning at the bagel store I saw someone come in to pick up his Uber delivery. He didn't seem well put together and 'slow of study' as father would say.
It has been a long time since I lost it and enjoyed giving someone a hard time.
Delete1. I used to be an extrovert but have evolved into an introvert.
ReplyDelete2. By avoiding them.
3. The city, I think.
4. I can't say.
5. Can't say that I ever have. Perhaps my introvertism is keeping me from noticing.
