2: Did you participate in "Dry January?"
3: A martini, Gin or Vodka, Shaken or Stirred?
4: Is there a place you would consider your local pub or bar?
5: What is your favorite drink to order?
My Answers:
1: Do you drink alcohol? Yes, in moderation.
2: Did you participate in "Dry January?" No. No reason to.
3: A martini, Gin or Vodka, Shaken or Stirred? Gin, extra dry, shaken.
4: Is there a place you would consider your local pub or bar? For most of my life the answer was no, there was never anyplace close by, or within walking distance. Here at the condo, we have a bar in the community center, a two minute walk across the back drive.
5: What is your favorite drink to order? I am most likely to ask for water, if I order a cocktail away from home, a gin martini, or a Manhattan.

ReplyDelete2: Did you participate in "Dry January?" I did this year because my friend asked me participate in Dry January with her. I don't drink much so it was easy for me. It gave me an opportunity to try a couple non-alcoholic wines (meh) and some NA cocktails (too fruity).
3: A martini, Gin or Vodka, Shaken or Stirred? Neither, thank you. My favorite martini memory is of my dad making martinis for my mom and him after he got home from work. He used a glass baby bottle to measure out the gin and vermouth, poured the concoction into pretty martini glasses, added a couple ice cubes, stirred, and then 3 olives in each.

2: Did you participate in "Dry January?"
I don’t do trendy. Besides, the northeast is bleak in January - the only two things to do around here are Ski and have cocktails.
3: A martini, Gin or Vodka, Shaken or Stirred?
I can drink both, but a I have grown to prefer a good ice cold Gin martini (shaken, not stirred. Please!) over ice with a splash of dry vermouth and a bit of lemon on the rim - it’s heaven.
4: Is there a place you would consider your local pub or bar? Nope. Many moons ago, we were regulars at two of the semi-local gay bars - Rocks and Oh Bar - but now I much prefer dinner with cocktails and nightcaps at home with friends. In Ptown, we are particularly found of the Harbor Lounge.
