Christmas in DC

Here we are with the politically correct holiday lights on the balcony railing, complete with grounded safety orange extension cord. We went into the city and viewed the national holiday tree by the White House on Sunday. It is just a little larger then the one we had in the living room last year, not much, but a little.
DG had a good first day on the new adventure. Much to do and learn.

  1. I'm just in awe of how quickly this all came together! But then again I try to remember how quickly our relocation's and moves happened before we had kids. Well, I guess even now they are still that fast (Dh usually gets the call and has to be in the new city working within two weeks...) so for HIM they are quick. LOL. For me? I am usually in the 'old' city and state for 2 or 3 months with the kids and pets, selling the house and doing all the real work! Ha.

(I know Kel knows it well!)

Congratulations on the new digs and new job!
