Oxford

In August of 2003 I had the pleasure of accompanying my companions to a history conference at Oxford University, in Oxford England. We stayed at St Edmonds College at the University and spent several days wandering about the city and attending a world-wide conference. This picture was taken as I was preparing to give a lecture on comparative flightless avian history in one of the venerable lecture halls at Oxford.

I know, I have been neglecting Travel's page. I'll try to do better. We are back on the road this week. I have a box full of past adventures to share. I promise I'll do better.

Yes, thank you. Oxford is home to the remains of the last dodo bird known to exist, hence a lecture on comparative flightless avian history would be a real hit (I bet it would be, some sleepless scholar just picked up the idea for their next endowed lecture.)
