These are from a couple of years ago. The New York Public Library is a work of art, well worth the time to wander about.

  4. One of my favorite places in New York City. I remember once just randomly pulling a book in a section I liked and sat and read. I've told Spo he could spend weeks in there, just ask for a cot. I like Christmas when they put wreaths around the lions' necks.

    1. I am sure there are books someplace, I was so amazed by the building and trying to not disturb the readers. There are a couple of rooms that are open to readers only.

  8. I totally agree. It's an architectural masterpiece. I love the reading rooms and everything else about the building. I have two photos, one of me and one of a friend inside one of those phone booths!
