My answers:
1: Are you planning to fly any place this year? Phoenix, Toronto, and home from Glasgow.
2: Are you planning to take a train this year? No reservations have been made, but most likely we will go back to New York City at some point, and Brussels to London.
3: What is the farthest you are likely to travel from home this year? Rotterdam, Netherland.
4: Will you travel to visit family or friends this year? I want to go see my sister and her family. I will see a couple of blog friends in Phoenix, while I am there for a conference.
5: If time and money were no object, where would you go this year? A Viking or Silversea around the world cruise.

Are you planning to fly any place this year? Oh yes... Budapest again. Morrocco, Zanzibar or Havana are being heavily considered.

What is the farthest you are likely to travel from home this year? Several options on the table when we decide.
Will you travel to visit family or friends this year? My half-sister has a visit planned to come here... and we may also head to North Carolina to visit my uncle and my mother's nephews.
If time and money were no object, where would you go this year? Hands down...another Orient Express trip!
Getting a Visa for Havana has become difficult again, Budapest is on my someday list.

4. Perhaps the daughter, who lives in Prescott, but she usually comes here.
5. Ravenna, Italy, a place Judy wanted to visit but we canceled it because of the cold the year we were in Italy. Also Paris, for longer, and London again. But there's two other factors, our age and health, that prevent travel like that.
Italy is so fun, and Paris.

5: for me money isn't the issue, it is time and circumstance. If someone could watch the dog at home I would like to go to Iceland or Norway.
