1: What is the most absurd thing in the room you are in? A talking Richard Nixon action figure.
2: What food are you a bit weird about? Tapioca - it is gross.
3: What is the strangest thing in your pocket, bag, purse, or murse? Travel Penguin is still in my daily bag.
4: What is the oddest thing framed and hanging on the wall in your home? A McDonalds placemat, from Amsterdam in 1991.
5: Given the opportunity, would you serve a term as mayor of the place you live? No, sorry it is a thankless job.

4. Not sure why I'm answering this particular post since I'm apparently the most boring person around. Oh well.
5. I thought about standing for some sort of polical office when I was younger, since I held, and still hold pretty strong views on matters (which I'm happy to see most of you share), but I never dared to stand since I figured once they dug up my seedy past, ie my out of wedlock baby, I would never be accepted for preselection. And now I'm just too old,and can t even walk on my own, so nah

3. My purse is boring. My coat pocket may contain earrings I've taken off and can't remember where I put them. It's happened more than once.
4. A bone shaped plaque that says "The more people I meet, the more I love my dog." It was a gift from my granddaughters.

1. Most absurd thing in this room? Probably my dead cat's ashes in a beautiful memorial box on top of my computer hutch.

1: What is the most absurd thing in the room you are in? An antique tin donkey with a contraption on his back that holds cigarettes, and then a moveable tail that allows the smokes to be delivered via the donkey's butt!

1: What is the most absurd thing in the room you are in? Not an easy choice. Possibly the genuine faux gold king's crown with its genuine faux rubies and emeralds.

4: What is the oddest thing framed and hanging on the wall in your home? Well, there is a small framed paper towel on which I did an etching in 1973.
5: Given the opportunity, would you serve a term as mayor of the place you live? Wow. What an interesting question. And my gut reaction was, "Sure!" THAT really surprised me.
