Happy Anniversary to my sweet bear. 29 years and he still makes me happy, makes me laugh, helps me love.
I saw a t-shirt recently that read "Cryogenics are Cool." That got me to thinking you don't hear about people wanting to freeze their bodies or heads anymore for reanimation later.
1: If you could, would you freeze your parts after death, and if so what parts?
2: Have you made your holiday fruitcakes yet? And if not, why not?
3: What would you like Santa to bring you for being a good little girl or boy?
4: Have you started your end of the year holiday shopping yet? Anyone finished?
5: Do you still have music from your teens, in your active collection of music?
My Answers:
1: If you could, would you freeze your things after death, and if so what parts? No, one life is enough.
2: Have you made your holiday fruitcakes yet? And if not, why not? The are aging in booze (no-rubbish) in the refrigerator.
3: What would you like Santa to bring you for being a good little girl or boy? Opportunities to be a bad boy next year.
4: Have you started your end of the year holiday shopping yet? Anyone finished? Groan, no, but I should.
5: Do you still have music from your teens, in your active collection of music? As I was listening to this, Chicago was playing, an album I owned in the 70's when it was new music.

Delete1: If you could, would you freeze your parts after death, and if so what parts?
ReplyDeleteEr.......no!
2: Have you made your holiday fruitcakes yet? And if not, why not?
Not yet, we usually make them in November, when the clocks have gone back, it gets dark earlier and baking a cake is something to look forward to and pass the time on at least one dismal, long dark evening.
3: What would you like Santa to bring you for being a good little girl or boy?
An election where Boris Johnson is ousted.
4: Have you started your end of the year holiday shopping yet? Anyone finished?
No way!
5: Do you still have music from your teens, in your active collection of music?
Yes, plenty. These days I request it on my smart speaker thingy but she often gets it wrong and there have been interesting substitutions. John Mayer instead of John Mayall was a lucky find.
regarding #3, I'd vote for that, if only my father had claimed his British passport.
Deletef you could, would you freeze your parts after death, and if so what parts? Hell no! I can't think for what reason.
ReplyDeleteHave you made your holiday fruitcakes yet? And if not, why not? Never been a fruitcake person...just myself is the fruitcake.
What would you like Santa to bring you for being a good little girl or boy? Oh nothing really, how about a selection of gin and Turkish Delight.
Have you started your end of the year holiday shopping yet? Anyone finished? I don't usually have a lot to get, and with me not having been to any mall yet, the few things I get will be done creatively, at my small shops.
Do you still have music from your teens, in your active collection of music? Nothing in physicals material except for some Madonna and Janet Jackson albums.
The Jackson Five and Donny Osmond were the first two albums I owned, parted with them when we left Florida

ReplyDeleteNow, onto the questions:
1: I would not freeze my parts after death. I barely survived one life, I'm not eager for round two.
2: We don't make or eat holiday fruitcake. Maybe I'll seek out a GF recipe and try one this year, for the hell of it.
3: I would like Santa to bring me a long stretch of stable, good health. Jeffrey gives me everything else I could ever want or need.
4: All of our holiday shopping is done as of last month. We also have ordered and received our holiday cards.
5: I still have and love all the music from my teens, in my active collection of music, which is 100% digital at this point, thanks to iTunes and the wonders of CD recording.
