Hmm? I don't think so

I am looking at materials for a bathroom remodel.  Jay keeps suggesting a tile with this optical illusion of depth, and I keep looking at something a bit calmer.  Something a bit more like this: 
Should I go all dark grey, or the multi-shade blend?

    I think the colors are depressing, but I'm not living there! My entire house looks like rainbow sherbet so you really can't go by me. The tiles in my shower are teal and kind of a rusty brown, while the walls are apricot.
    I'm with Mitchell on the optical illusion one. Won't that make you dizzy? I do like the design of the second one, but the gray? No.
