The Sunday Five: Sleepy Time

1: Do you have trouble sleeping?

2: Can you sleep with the television playing?

3: Can you sleep in public places?

4: How many hours do you sleep most nights?

5: Do you set an alarm to wake up?

My Answers:

1: Do you have trouble sleeping? Very seldom

2: Can you sleep with the television playing? Yes, and this is a new ability for me.

3: Can you sleep in public places? Not really, I don't sleep in the theater or concert hall.

4: How many hours do you sleep most nights? 8 or so most nights.

5: Do you set an alarm to wake up? Only if I have a very early flight or meeting, I haven't in 15 years.

    4. 7.5 hours is usual for me. If I go to bed a bit early and plan to get 8 hours, I will wake earlier.
    5. Yes, as I know what would happen if I didn't. I would wake later and later each day. Before you know it, I would be waking at 10 rather than 7.

5.Yes. 5:00AM when I was supercommuting, 6:00AM when we were full time work from home. Since retiring, I've set a default on my phone for 7:00AM for Monday through Friday, no alarm on Saturday, and 6:00AM on Sundays if I am going to attend the 7:30AM service (shut off in September when the person I'm caregiving was released home from skilled nursimg).
