I know, I Know, I know, this is not really music for a Monday, please forgive me. I saw this, actuall a shorter edit of this on the CBS Sunday Morning Show recently and thought this is too cool to not share. Dog only knows how outrageously overpriced the little red bag is, it is kinda of cute, but I would fight a war for it. Though I do like soft red leather. While I am unlikely to ever buy their products, I give them kudos for creativity.
I’ve had Hermes colognes, Hermes ties, but never a Hermes bag. And I never will, even though this one is available in Spain for a measly $5,000.
ReplyDeleteMe neither. Dramatic add though
DeleteThat is out there for them. Like Micthell, one of three colognes I've been wearing for at least 12 years is Hermes d orange Verde.
ReplyDeleteOmg does it smell good. Always get complimented.
60 Minutes did a feature last night on Guci, showing the hand work that goes into their products, still I don't know how they justify the price.
DeleteMostly likely because idiots pay it?
DeleteLove the ad; love the prince seeming more interested in the bag than the girl.
ReplyDeleteBut I Googled it and it sells for between $7500 and $10000. I'd rather take a nice vacation.
Agree
DeleteWhat a great ad. Seeing that bag fly through the air made me think of a scene from a movie called "Le Divorce". At one point, a red Hermes bag is tossed over the edge of the top deck of the Eiffel Tower and you see it floating in the air.
ReplyDeleteReally neat ad
DeleteObscenely overpriced status items like that are ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteAgree - neat add though
DeleteIT'S A PURSE!!! No amount of material cuteness is worth that type of money, red or not! My cheapo pleather bags hold what I need them to hold just fine. Sorry for the startled yell :)
ReplyDeleteYell anytime! Watches are another area of silliness
DeleteThat is one very expensive advertisement.
ReplyDeleteLots of production costs for a handbag ad
