Sunday Five - Your Own Kind of Music!

My taste in music is best described as eclectic.  Music is often a backdrop in my life.  Hence this weeks Sunday Five. 

 1: Do you play an instrument? 
2: Can you read music? 
3: Does it matter to you what is playing? 
4: Do you sing in public? 
5: When was the last time you attended a live concert? 

 My Answers: 
1: Do you play an instrument? regretfully not
2: Can you read music? nope. 
3: Does it matter to you what is playing? No, as long as it is positive or fun. 
4: Do you sing in public? No, There is not enough Bourbon in Bardstown to get me to do that. 
5: When was the last time you attended a live concert?  Four weeks ago at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

    1: Do you play an instrument? huh, well..I have always been fond of the flute.
    2: Can you read music? Nope. Looks like ants jumping around to me.
    3: Does it matter to you what is playing? I just enjoy music in the background
    4: Do you sing in public? No!!!
    5: When was the last time you attended a live concert? A Philly Symphony about a year ago.

    1: I used to play piano

    2: I used to be able to; it's been a long time

    3: as long as it's not religious or (c)rap, I'm good

    4: I try NOT to; a select few have heard me sing and they think I'm good

    5: 3 years ago (approx); the bacon brothers (kevin & michael) were back home

    1: Do you play an instrument? Yes, a baritone ukulele (like a small guitar but with 4 strings)
    2: Can you read music? Yes
    3: Does it matter to you what is playing? Not really, but I hate rap and Christian rock.
    4: Do you sing in public? Yes, but not by myself.
    5: When was the last time you attended a live concert? Several years ago--The Gaither Vocal Band (my sister's choice for her 70th birthday).

    1: Do you play an instrument? I wish. Studied clarinet and violin briefly as a child. LOVED the violin. But then we moved to the great City of New York which didn't appreciate music appreciation at the time.
    2: Can you read music? I could. Can't anymore.
    3: Does it matter to you what is playing? Oh yeah. Although my mood and taste can change.
    4: Do you sing in public? With friends, I've got no shame. But I've never picked up a microphone or done karaoke.
    5: When was the last time you attended a live concert? Way too long. I can't even remember. And I used to go all the time. NOW I'm depressed!
