DelRay Sidewalk Art Festival
DelRay is a neighborhood on the north side of Alexandria, south side of Arlington, Virginia, here in the near Washington DC burbs. It has a walkable small downtown sort of a feel, with a nice selection of restaurants and shops (The Meat Market will feature in the Sunday Five in a couple of weeks.)
We took the convertible over there a couple of weekends ago, DelRay was having a sidewalk art festival. Some very talented artists.
Do you enjoy local arts festivals?

Yes!!!!!! New Hope and doylestown have several each in the warmer months. And been to the Alexandria one. My half sister lives in Woodbridge.
ReplyDeleteoooooooooooooooooh, some great talent there on the sidewalks! I love the bear (cause you KNOW I loves hairy friendly bears) and the doggie.
ReplyDeleteI love them!!! Wish we had them right here in town.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we have any. They shut downtown yearly for the honey and wine festival. I enjoy anything festival-like because everything is so, uh, festive.
